    3. Tim....I would like to view your documents for this data as I have some differing info on Alexander. Thanks, John Niewierowski Skibiski -----Original Message----- From: polandbordersurnames-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:polandbordersurnames-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Timothy NIEWIEROWSKI Sent: Saturday, November 28, 2009 11:09 AM To: Polish Border Surnames Subject: [PBS] Request for Assistance: Reading Passenger Manifests I am having difficulty in determining my grandfather's native origins in Russia-Poland. I have identified when he arrived in the U.S., but the passenger manifest script is difficult for me to read to better narrow his Russian-Polish roots. If someone out there has experience reading the script on Passenger Manifests, I ask your assistance to review two records to determine "Last Permanent Residence" (Column 10), "The Name and Address of Nearest Relative" (Column 11), "..Relative, Friend, and Complete Address" (Column 18), and "Place of Birth" (Column 29). The two records are: Julian NEWIROWSKI (my grandfather): S.S. President Lincoln, arrived at New York, 28 NOV 1907, Line# 28 on manifest sheet. Alexander NIEWAROWSKI (my granduncle, brother of Julian): S.S Oceanic, arrived at New York, 8 April 1909, Line# 10 on manifest sheet. Any help is greatly appreciated! Warm Regards, Tim Niewierowski _________________________________________________________________ Bing brings you maps, menus, and reviews organized in one place. http://www.bing.com/search?q=restaurants&form=MFESRP&publ=WLHMTAG&crea=TEXT_ MFESRP_Local_MapsMenu_Resturants_1x1 ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to POLANDBORDERSURNAMES-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
