    3. Hi, Bronwyn responded to Yvonne's request for the Websites where one can find the name BRZEZINSKI in Poland as follows: > Are these what you were looking for? > http://www.herby.com.pl/indexslo.html > http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/brzezinski.html If you're looking on the Moikrewni site, don't forget the diacritical marks! The N in BRZEZINSKI is normally written by Poles with an accent over the N. So this page is really the better one: http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/brzezi%25C5%2584ski.html But because the Moikrewni site has separate pages for data on the masculine and feminine forms of adjectival surnames, you don't get the whole picture unless you also check the page for the feminine version, ending in -ska: http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/brzezi%25C5%2584ska.html Unfortunately, these pages may not be much practical help, because they simply show that BRZEZIN'SKI/BRZEZIN'SKA is a common name in Poland. So searching for Brzezinskis is pointless unless you also have info telling exactly where your particular Brzezinski family came from -- which I'm afraid neither the Herby nor the Moikrewni site is much help with. All those sites tell you is that the name is common almost everywhere in Poland, though some areas have larger numbers than others. Sorry I couldn't give better news. Fred Hoffman

    3. thank you - that's what I wanted but I have a small problem - I went on a site "list of the Polish nobility" - I have found the family name "Brzezinski h. Lubicz" - but I can not go further - that person is a branch of my family and I would be very happy that she can give me more information about our family - would you have an idea ? best regards -------------------------------------------------- From: "Bronwyn Klimach" <bronklimach@gmail.com> Sent: Sunday, December 27, 2009 9:56 AM To: <polandbordersurnames@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [PBS] BRZEZINSKI > Yvonne, > Are these what you were looking for? > http://www.herby.com.pl/indexslo.html > http://www.moikrewni.pl/mapa/kompletny/brzezinski.html > Kind regards, > Bronwn. > > On Sun, Dec 27, 2009 at 8:50 AM, yvonne <yvonnebrzezinski@hotmail.fr> > wrote: > >> Hello and Happy New Year to all >> >> I lost the name of the site where one could find the name (Brzezinski) in >> different cities of Poland. >> (I do not know if the translation of google will be good. >> Thank you >> >> > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > POLANDBORDERSURNAMES-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' > without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
