Thank you both. I really did not know if that was Polish for Michael, and that was why I asked. About software, I am reading online at gmail, but I think it is whether my OS has that portion of Unicode installed. It is a Linux PDA, and for some reason not all programs can even take advantage of the unicode that is on it. I know I can render ñ for example in some applications, but not others, and don't even see the letter L with any special accents in my Unicode keys menu. I think it's a part of unicode that was not installed, and I had better hunt my user forums to see who has made the Polish alphabet available for it, and how hard it will be to implement.
