Listers, My wife has just completed the translation of a legal document from the the Rzeszow public archives. It describes hearings surrounding the shootings of 17 people by the Nazis on July 8, 1943. This was a "roundup" of some citizens who might have been involved in the Polish underground in the villages of Stobierna and Jasionka. I have seen some of the names in the document among posts by listers. Here are the names, I am using only plain English letters so that those whose computers are not set for Polish letters will be able to read them. Villages: Stobierna, Jasionka (Near Rzeszow). These were the persons who were shot: Franciszek Bednarz, Jan Bednarz, Walenty Bielenda, Mateusz Ciapa, Stefan Debowski, Franciszek Dul, Jozef Drupka, Jozef Iwaszek, Mieczyslaw Sierzega, Antoni Szybisty, Edward Szybisty, Jakub Szybisty, Jan Szybisty, Jozef Szybisty, Wiktoria Szybisty, and Wojciech Wilk The following names are also mentioned elsewhere in the document. Most are related to those who were executed.
