I do not see that feature any more on the "new and improved" version of Shtetlseeker. If you used this site: http://wwww.mapa.szukacz.pl, you can do it by finding the place you want. There is a kilometer counter on it. It works with our mouse. As you move it from the point you want, it will register the distrance from your destination village by the kilometer. I must be out of the loop with regard to "new and improved" and lack of finding communities within 10 km. I use http://www.jewishgen.org/Communities/LocTown.asp and on the RH side is a column with buttons you click to get a list of towns within 10 km. What am I missing?
