    3. Karl, I think the Koselin you are trying to find is today called Koszalin. It has been called Kezlin and Koslin in the past. The LDS have churches records, civil registrations, court records, Jewish court records, directories and Jewish records. You can find the lists of what they have using this site: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp. The have Evangelical records from 1740 through 1932. To find an LDS Family History Center near you, use this site: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp, You can rent the film through them. They will order them from Salt Lake City for you for a nominal fee. Stettin is now called Szczecin. You can look that up and see what they have for this city. 2. I have checked the online Slownik Geograficzny for 1880-1902 and to not find either place listed. Also checked the 1925 online version of it, and did not find them. They must have had different names. If we can find them, we can use the different slowniks to get the names of their parishes. 3. Thanks Charles Actually I have checked out many FHL films , and have not found the exact BERNHARD HAACK , and/or the marriage to BERTHA DEVONSKE. I have found on one reference to a DEVONSKE surname , and that is from a town named Schloppe , and Sobbowitz . I have not checked those films yet because the first one has not arrived , and both of the films ( from what I have found ) have only a hint of the records , that I an searching for. 3. Are you sightseeing at all during your trip to Poland? If so, I highly recommend Krakow and the concentration camps at Aushwitz and Bukenwald Amber jewelery??? Krakow has a wonderul " marketplace" Amber vendors everywhere Make sure that you exchange your USD to Zloty's as soon as possible,,, use the KANTORS ( money exchangers) you get the best exchange rate from them the worse rates of exchange are at the Airport and in Hotel lobbys. God bless and take care Praying for Safe traveling mercies from the Lord Jesus Rose ----- Original Message ----- From: <Dickdoms@aol.com> To: <polandbordersurnames@rootsweb.com>; <PolandBorderSurnames_L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 31, 2007 11:05 AM Subject: [PBS] Trip to Poland > One final plea, I will be in Poland September 17 - 26, 2007 to search for > relatives of Anna Grabowski Domalewski and Walter Ladislaus Domalewski. > Both > immigrated to the USA about 1900 -1914. 3. I found your page on genealogy.com, which lists Walter's year of birth as 1890 and Anna's as 1895. Do you for some reason this is not Walter's record? Wladislaw Domalewski Arrival Date: 13 Sep 1909 Estimated birth year: abt 1889 Age: 20 Gender: Male Port of Departure: Bremen Ethnicity/Race- /Nationality: Polish Ship Name: Prinz Friedrich Wilhelm On 8/31/07, Dickdoms@aol.com <Dickdoms@aol.com> wrote: > > One final plea, I will be in Poland September 17 - 26, 2007 to search for > relatives of Anna Grabowski Domalewski and Walter Ladislaus > Domalewski.
