I can usually read Polish handwriting fairly well; however, I'm having trouble with finding my grandmother's home town. Salomea Soltys is listed in the Passenger Record at Ellis Island as having come from Baminoska in Galicia. When I look at the original ship's manifest, line 6, I really can't make out the name of the town. It doesn't even look like Baminoska. Plus there's some handwriting above the town name, and I can't tell if this belongs to my grandmother's entry or the entry for the line above hers, line 5. Hopefully someone can help me with this. I am really stumped.
