I have received more help and good advice than I ever had hoped to receive regarding interpretations of handwriting, first names, etc. I'm afraid I began this adventure into genealogy much like the person who begins to use their new cell phone; that is, without reading the instruction manual first. I see that I have some reading to do. However, I do want to say that with the help of some "known" cousins, some previously "unknown" cousins, and many new found friends, such as yourselves, I've gone from knowing about maybe 80 or 90 relatives to now having a family tree of over 1600 relatives and ancestors. This has been quite an experience for me, but I know that I would be no where near this far along in my family tree without the help of folks such as yourselves. Your willingness to guide, to help and in many cases, to provide the answers is simply incredible and I, like many in my league I'm sure, thank you all very much for your generosity. Merry Christmas to you all, John
