http://www.uscis.gov (click on Services & Benefits; then click on Genealogy) The US Citizenship & Immigration Services will offer online orders for genealogical records as of tomorrow. These include some naturalizations, visa applications, and alien registrations, to name just a few offerings. My great-grandfather (Martin Wolniakowski), who lived in Milwaukee, filed first papers but did not become a citizen, so he filed an alien reg. form. The copy I received was so valuable, containing information about his military service in Pol/Germ, alias (Wolfe), and other data. Might be worth a look; now that you can order online, hopefully it will be much easier. Karen
