Thanks everyone for your advice. I have started composing my letter and will have it ready to go on Tuesday. Barbara do you remember how long it took before receiving a response? I was wondering how long to await a response or assume my request is being ignored. I certainly hope that the Parish Father in Lipno will respond and I will get the marriage record of my grandparents. If and when it comes I will be dancing around the house!!!!! Nancy
