This afternoon I went thru an old box I obviously had not looked at since about 1988. It contained a bunch of my old stuff as far back as 1985 from just after my high school graduation. I found a bunch of empty envelopes and am trying to figure out what they are. they are dated 1953 I also found an envelope dated 1950 with a letter enclosed in polish. The address for all is Greenport, which is the east end of the north fork of the Island. I am originally from the area, and the name on the empty envelopes is familiar to me. If anyone on the list is familiar with the families of this area during the '50's please contact me off list if you think you may be able to help me sort this out. Thanks in advance. Marie
