    3. Thanks again Joe, The Polish language lesson might help me decipher a few other things. I have found both spellings of Zalozce also but many towns have such similar names that I always have to check that it's the correct place. I was lucky that a couple of documents had the Nowe added to the town name making my search just a little easier. The pond looks more like a lake but then the size is relevant to the size of the rest of the map so I'm guessing if I was there it would look quite small in size.
