Also wanted to let you know that the Roman Catholic parish in Lipno did respond and I received my grandparents marriage certificate. I was surprised it only took 30 days. I was expecting a long wait. I do have a question I did notice that the day and place of birth were left blank for my grandparents. Is that because it was not recorded at the time of their marriage? or is it possible they lived in a different village and parish at the time of their birth? I guess I can always write again to request their birth record and see what happens. Any thoughts about the missing information.
