Karen, I was able to e-mail the picture privately to Vodeck and Joe, and both came to a similar conclusion on the last 3 letters. Roman and Vodeck both came to the same conclusion with the first letters. I have writing on one headstone spelled TU SPOCZYWA. There is only one person's name on that headstone. TU SPOCZYWA = Here Rests. I have writing on another headstone spelled TU SPOCZYWAJA. There are two person's name on that headstone. TU SPOCZYWAJA = Here Rests. In plural form. This means both are in holy memory, or something similar. Although it could also be "Z (letter Z) SP (explanation as above)", which means 'with", but according to polish language when I was in school, the first option is more probable. But you have to remember we talking about old polish language. I hope some other people give you some other ideas or more info>>.
