Nancy, It was really nice of you to share all of this information. I have a question though. Do the records you listed below cover only the parishes in the city of Wl~ocl~awek? Piaseczno, in old woj. Wl~ocl~awek, is in the parish of Czarne (St. Michael the Archangel). The address is #4 in the list located here: http://www.diecezja.wloclawek.pl/?id=6&d=47 You would write it like this: Parafia s~w. Michal~a Archaniol~a Czarne 87-603 Wielgie Poland BTW There are a few Piaseczno in Poland including one in old woj. Bydgoszcz. I mention this so you'll be aware of the others and not get confused. An easy way to find out the gmina for a particular village, assuming you know the name of that village, is to use http://mapa.szukacz.pl/ type in the village name under "Miejscowos~c~" and click on Pokaz. The returns will list the gmina in which each village is located. Try it with Piaseczno. This will also show you all of the Piaszeczno in Poland! See if you can pick out your Piaseczno.
