Arlene, I don't think you'll find this information easily. Sponsors, as listed on the Passenger Arrival Records, would have to be transcribed and I don't think that's been the case with ancestry.com or Ellis Island web site. In order to find out who your grandfather sponsored, you'd have to know their names. Catch-22 situation I'm afraid. However, using one of Stephen Morse's search engines I think you can search by village, assuming you know your grandfather's birth village.
