My mother was from Straszydle in Rzeszow, and my dad was from Lubenia in Rzeszow. Were these cities part of Galicia? I'm not sure where the boundaries of Galicia were. I do know that both of them were under Austrian rule. As a side question, and not trying to offend anybody, my father used the term Tromba Austryjacka, which I think was derogatory. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
