?Hi Tennille, I'm not sure if you are aware that the Australian Archives has a digital file on this family, which you can access. It has 43 pages of documents & pictures of Ferdinand, Gerda and children . http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/recordsearch/index.aspx Good luck with your research. I am helping my husband and his father try to find some more information on my Father-in-law's family. His mother was Gerda Pollak. She was born in Brzeg, Opole in 1928. She married a Fuchs in Bad Bergzabern, Rhineland-Palatinate in 1952. They emigrated together with their young son, to Australia late in the 1950's. Their son is now my father-in-law, and is interested in finding out more about his family. All we know other than what I have already given is that Gerda had a brother. His name was Günter. We would really appreciate any help that is offered, on either the ancestors of Gerda's family, or information of more recent times. Thank You all for reading. Tennille. ********************************* Need to contact the list manager?
