Many thanks to all that responded to my query regarding Schonthal & Koningsberg.  I will put together all of the suggestions that I received from this group and another mailing list.  I know that several members of this family attended Riverside Church in Buffalo.  These records are available on microfilm through the LDS and may also give clues regarding where this family originated in Prussia. Please excuse my ignorance on history (especially pre-WWII) in this area.  As a child, history was always my least favorite subject.  I find that the more I research my family history my total outlook on history has changed.  I now read books, articles, and postings about the history of the areas I am researching.  It is interesting to speculate why they immigrated when they did.
