    3. Was it customary for Jagiellonian University professors in the 16th century to marry and have children? Or were they single throughout life, like members of religious orders?  I hope this doesn't seem off-topic.  I'm curious about whether they might have descendants.  In looking for biographical details, all I find is references to what they taught and wrote.
