Was it customary for Jagiellonian University professors in the 16th century to marry and have children? Or were they single throughout life, like members of religious orders? I hope this doesn't seem off-topic. I'm curious about whether they might have descendants. In looking for biographical details, all I find is references to what they taught and wrote.
