Can someone please tell me why a surname would appear with "ego" on the end. My Cybulski ancestors have some burials written as Cybulskiego on the headstones. Thank you. Joan

Dear Joan, it's the genitive form, like in English adding "of " before a word. So Cybulskiego means "of Cybulski". Ciao! Guido
