CB: Is the surname of the mother the same as that of the recorded child? Probably illegitimate or possibly even unknown father. Does she know that they were married or of any supposed interactions (besides the obvious!) Besides baptismal records the only thing I can think of is newspaper records of legal consequences, child support actions or paperwork in family court. Otherwise, you may have to just let it go--- With that time frame, think military or CCC candidates. Good hunting. [email protected]
