I am picking up my Polish research after a long hiatus and am having trouble getting started. Is there a site where you might find what churches served a particular town? My mothercame from Pa~tno~w. The parish is Gosl~awice. Haven't found the name of the church. Mother's name was Janina Pilarska my grandmother's maiden name Jozefa Bagrowska.Paternal grandfather was Antoni Kulsa, town Rospuda, His father's name probably Stanisl~awI seem to be stuck at this point and don't know jow to go on from here. Any help would be much appreciated.

Irene, Poles usually don't refer to their churches by name but rather by its village name. In order to locate the name of the parish for Gosławice, you need to search for its web site. They are in old województwo Konin. Once I know the name of the parish village I search the internet for "parafia -----" The problem here is that the parishes for Gosławice that come up are not the one you want.
