    3. Hi, I have been very patient, but it seemed time to try visiting this site again. Still no joy for me - can anyone get into it, or does anyone have any further information about it? Thanks. Double click on the black descriptive search line ABOVE the red "online database overloaded spiel". Goes to Lackawanna promo page then "enter" then pick your database. Note that the buttons on the left are how you move around the results. Good hunting. (Now everyone will be using it and it will get overloaded again. :) ) PolishDragon@att.net

    3. Hello -- I was able to get into the site. May need to update the IE version you are using; if using Apple OS, upgrade to Lion may be required. 3. Hi Bron -- after reading your latest posts I am wondering if calling the site would be of some help. That you are getting the not authorized user comment is a bit unusual. Maybe they can do some remote support to see if the settings in your browser/computer is actually prohibiting the access. Just an idea. 3. Bron, I was able to get the home page to appear using Firefox. I clicked on Departments/Agencies and then Register of Wills and found this message 1/4 of the way down the page: "Due to heavy traffic volume, the online records search engine is experiencing some technical difficulties. Infocon is working on a solution to resolve these difficulties. If you are unable to access the online records search, please try again later. Note: Pop-ups need to be enabled to access online records. For support call Infocon at 814-472-6146" I also tried Internet Explorer and had to click through from a "search" page (?). I found the same notice though about heavy volume. Debbie Bronwyn Klimach wrote: > Hi, > I have been very patient, but it seemed time to try visiting this site > again. 3. I did get into the site but it was a little slow coming up.   I quickly looked at some of the marriage records. The information I saw didn't help me with my search but someone else may find what they need.   LeAnn C Cook   “Six essential qualities that are the key to success: Sincerity, personal integrity, humility, courtesy, wisdom, charity.” ~ Dr. William Claire Menninger --- On Wed, 6/13/12, Bronwyn Klimach <bronklimach@gmail.com> wrote: From: Bronwyn Klimach <bronklimach@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [POLAND] Lackawanna Online To: poland-roots@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, June 13, 2012, 9:10 AM Hi, I have been very patient, but it seemed time to try visiting this site again.  Still no joy for me - can anyone get into it, or does anyone have any further information about it? 3. Many thanks to all who replied, sending advice, screen shots, and even a copy of an actual entry which turned out to be most informative and rather different from the church record which I had! The suggestion that the site may be blocked to international ISPs is one I had considered, so I may again contact those responsible for the site and see whether this is (intentionally or otherwise) the case. I am hoping that the goodies available in this database will be of as much use to some of you as they would be for me! Bronwyn.
