I'm looking to trace my grandmother in Poland. This is some information I know about her: First name: Yadwiga or Yanina, Jadwiga, Janina, Jana. Surname: Pawlowich or Pawlowicz, Pawlowska. (Powlowich, Powlowicz, Powlowska). Date of birth: 09.07.1885 - Warszawa, Poland. She belonged to the Catholic Church. My sister Elena is planning to go to Poland in October 2012 with a group of people from her Catholic Church. Unfortunately she will be able to stay in Warszawa for only a very short time. I would appreciate it if somebody could give me any advice about where she can start to investigate information about our grandmother.
