Vera, Congratulations! I hope this is a "good" connection. Just use caution in handing over your own family information. Debbie Vera Miller wrote: > > Hello all! I can finally report a major breakthrough on my genealogy in Poland. I have been stuck for years in finding more information on a sister of my great-great-grandmother. Bialystok archives only had her birth record and nothing else. A great-great-granddaughter e-mailed me from Russia today. She saw my family tree posted on Familysearch.org. This is the second time Familysearch.org has come through for me. The last time I found a relative of my great-great-great-great-grandfather's brother from the same surname. I can't wait to receive information from her to learn more about my great-great-grand aunt. Vera
Congratulations on the break-through. At lest there is hope. I have been searching for 20 years for the emigration data and pre-emmigration data of my Germanic family that has major presence in the Selesian area. All data seems to be lost because of the peasant uprisings in the early 20th century plus the ravages of wars.
