I recommend searching for place names under keyword instead of place search. It will only come up under place name if the place itself has records under its name (i.e. they had a church). If you search by keyword, the name will come up if the village is included in ANOTHER town's records (i.e. no church in the town of that name, but the records are in another town). Hello, It is a normal practise, they have to transfer the books older then 100 years to the state archive, which is good because they are much easier accessibe in the archive. Skoyszyn archive has been closed unfortunately (unfortunately because they were very good) and the records has been transfered to Sanok branch I think, but you wil have to check it in Sanok. Birth records from 1860-1902 and marriage records from 1860-1907 were transferred from the Civil Registry Office in Dukla, serving the Parish of Dukla and Jasionka to the State archives branch in Skolyszyn. I would teach them how to recognize some wildflowers and my dad used to take them on "nature walks" when our house was new and there was a wild field in back of our house. Len, LDS has not filmed the church records for Skalnik so you will have to write to the parish, in Polish, and ask for a photocopy or digital image of Andrzej Piwowarczyk's baptismal record. You could also request a photocopy or digital image of his parents' marriage record or at the very least, a complete transcription of the records. You don't just want a certificate.
