Dear Robert: I received this letter back in August. It turns out we are related through the Szatkowskis. Eileen's email address is shadow57@chartermi.net "Kathy, Are you still actively researching this family line? If so, I would like to correspond with you concerning Josepha SZATKOWSKA, born 19 March 1843 to Adalbert SZATKOWSKI and Maryanna STANISLAWSKA. I believe or hope that the said Josepha is in fact my ggg-grandmother. My Josepha(born 17 March 1843)married Joseph MACIEJEWSKI in approx. 1865. I have birth records for two of their children, Katerina/Katherine(b. 21 Oct 1878) and Wawrzyn/Lawrence(b.31 July 1875), both born in Gablin, Wyslawice(Sroda), Poznan, Poland. Josepha's maiden name as listed on each document is "SCHADKOWSKA and SZADKOWSKA" respectively. On 22 April 1880 they arrived in America aboard the Herder. The family settled in Bay City, Michigan. Josepha's death record (dod-17 May 1902-aged 59yrs, 2mos)listed her parents as Geo. SZATKOWSKI and M. STANSTOWSKA. In total she had 7 children and I am descended through her eldest son, Joseph Jr.(born 1867). I would certainly like to share the documentation I have if you think we have a connection. Kindest regards, Eileen Roe Harrisville, MI" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robert Heimann" <robradix@web.de> To: <POL-WIELKOPOLSKIE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2004 11:41 AM Subject: [Wielkopolskie] Maciejewski > Researching the name MACIEJEWSKI and trying to find others who do also. > > Robert Heimann, Berlin/Germany > ________________________________________________________________ > Verschicken Sie romantische, coole und witzige Bilder per SMS! > Jetzt neu bei WEB.DE FreeMail: http://freemail.web.de/?mc=021193 > > > ==== POL-WIELKOPOLSKIE Mailing List ==== > New to the POL-WIELKOPOLSKIE mailing list?
