He arrived in the US via the Port of New York in 1892. He was born in Wielowies, Bydgoszcz Poland (west of Inowroclaw-NE of Pakosc). He was baptized at Sw. Malgorzata in Koscielec, (Poland). He settled first in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, then moved on to SE Wisconsin--Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
