His parents were Johann Schroeder, born approx. 1765, and Anna Rosina Adam, born approx 1785. Does anyone know anything about this community? From the name it certainly may be a village originally settled by Scotch settlers in Poland. I have found reference to a Scottish resettlement to this area mid-1600's of about 30,000 people. The name Adam may be of Scotch derivation. Any help or clues greatly appreciated.
