I would like to hear from listers who have connections to the parish of Koscielec near Kolo, in particular the village of Straszkow. My grandfather Mikolaj Swider came from there.....I have no info about him prior to 1904....he was born 1876 to Josef Swider and Sofia Broda. In Canada he was known as Swiderski and was said to have spent a significant time in Chicago.
