I am searching for a Pawlak who lived in NE Arkansas on a dairy farm in 1948. I think he was there for some period of time. He and his wife were both Polish immigrants and they had no children. His father's name would have been Andrzc Pawlak. Sometime in 1948 or shortly thereafter their home & barn burned (something about have electricity installed from the REA) and they moved to a farm in Wisconsin. Anyone heard a story similar to this? Thanks in advance.
