But he is said to be from Posin, German-Poland. Came to the USA about 1867 and settled in Marathon Co., Wisconsin. He came with brothers Valentine , John and Joseph. Joseph returned to Poland (didn't like it here). He also had a sister Mary who stayed in Poland. Parents of this Family were Anthony & Marianna.There were some of his children's records that listed The last name WOJTASIAK as well, so I don't think its an error.
