(I just responded, elsewhere, to one of your other messages about the same family.) Just wanted to let you know that the exact spelling of the village name you mentioned is Dziewierzewo. I know that from the extensive research I did of that area of Poland, including via referring to several relevant maps. That particular village is located ten or so miles to the n.w. of the town of Znin. If you're interested, let me know, and I have some relevant area information that I'll be happy to share with you. If e-mailing me directly, please include "Gora (Znin) Parish genealogy" in the Subject line, so I'll know your e-mail isn't spam. Sincerely, Dave Wilson PS: I used to correspond with a Professor David Chelminski (I believe that's his name) of Toledo. Have you ever heard of him before?

The name we have is Koniecpolski (zon reice zu reich). My father's name is Josef and grew up on a large estate just outside of Lwow (changed to Lvov in 1945 and then Lviv sometime later). His fathers name was Tomasz (polish with the name above) and his mother's name was Barbara (German). Tomasz was the judge of the village and they owned a large farm/stud. To my knowledge he had 12 brothers and one sister Caroline whom was killed by a horse. I am not sure about the part of my fathers name in brackets but the Koniecpolski part certainly relates to Lwow. Any information you have would be gratefully received. With kind regards, Steve
