Several of their children were born in Zydowo. I received the name Oswiecim from one of Wojciech Schleichert's granddaughters but I have never been able to confirm this. My grandfather Wojceich Bojanowski was born in Skulsk in 1885. His parents were Jan and Agnes Bojanowski. Wojceich and his brother Paulin (Paul) came to the U.S. in 1912 and settled near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They left a sister Jeannette in Poland and I assume married with the last name Wajszczyk.
