His parents were Lawrence Misiak and Tekla Skonieczny. Lawrence and Tekla also had children named Joseph, Stanley, Peter, Mary & Antoinette. Often used words are 'liezacy', most probably leżący, - lying or situated, 'majacy', having 'obydwoch oziadlych' - should be osiadłych - both of them settled (oziadly) - osiadły - settled, 'odbytym' - a one that happened, was celebrated 'oswiadozenie' - oświadczenie - a statement 'stryia' - of father's brother. Stryj is father's brother 'wspomniony' - wspomniany - mentioned, usually in "wyżej wspomniany" - mentioned above 'zaslubien' - marriages , 'zeyscia' - deaths and 'zostajaca'. - remaining Thanks a lot! I see quite a few of those Fruhner hits relating to Berlin, and BERLIN NOW could very well mean that those people (or their ancestors) had lived FURTHER EAST BEFORE 1945 [Poland is just about 40 miles east of the city of Berlin]. Whatever. If I were in your shoes, I would google for Fruhner, and then peek at each website. There should be some contact information on each of them.
