Hi, My Grandmother's ship manifest record indicated that she was from Bialystok & Grodno. A little confusing since they are quite a distance from each other. Other U.S. documents identified her birthplace as Bialystok. Now I have found that her Aunt identified Bialosuknia as her birthplace. It's interesting to note that Bialosuknia would be in the Podlaskie province as well. While it's possible that my Grandmother live a distance from her Aunt, I'm finding it unlikely. I'm hoping to find a parish and hopefully find out that it was microfilmed. Does anyone have any ideas on this puzzle? Thanks for your help, Judy
