They traveled from Prostkeu via Hamburg to Mt. Carmel, PA. Juzef (Joseph) is shown as living with Stella & her husband Felix in the 1920 and 1930 census. Her parents are Alexander Andruszkiewicz and Antonina Buczynska. I would love to hear from you have any of these names in your research.

(My family line.) Walter [Vladislav] Omiljan married Katie [Cazimiera] Koslowski in 1917; both buried in Resthaven Cemetery, Iron River, MI; Katie's parents were Vincent Koslowski & Marianna Jurczak. Ladislaus Omiljan married Maria Kisielowski in 1916; nothing known about this brother; Maria's parents were Paulus Kisielowski & Julia Wagner. The parents of these Omiljan brothers are: Joseph Omiljan and Sophia [Theophila] Toczylowski, both born in Poland. Would appreciate any info on any of these families.

I think that the translation should be not "Parowo" but "Popowo" (English "p" reads as Russian "r") and the exact translation from Polish or Russian "w Grajewie" is just a correct grammar form for "in Grajewo" - so in short I think the translations should say "Popowo" and "it happened in Grajewo". My sisters (twins) b Haverhill MA, 1969, are Cathy and Christie currently residing in California My father is Sigmund Podlozny, Jr. son of Sigmund Podlozny. My father was born in Fall River, MA, 1944 and lived in Haverhill, MA until he married my mother. His father came to the US with his wife Sophie, from Poland. My father has many more details if anyone is interested. I think it's strange that I've never heard of any other Podlozny's in Haverhill.
