    1. [Pol-Maz] KLASK, MALUCHNIK from Zareby (Zaremby, Zarombe)
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Klask, Maluchnik Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AdC.2ACE/2014 Message Board Post: Ships' manifests show Zaremby, Zarembe, Zarombe, Zaromby, it's all the same place. I am looking for any birth/marriage record of Stanislav MALUCHNIK (b.1859), who married Amelia Mieleski(sp?)(b.1861); also for Josef KLASK (b.1878-81), who married Mariana Maluchnik (1883). Birthdates approximate. I think Josef Klask's father may have been Jan Klask, and he was allegedly a Swedish orphan and acquired the Klask name from a German Jesuit priest (that is the story, unconfirmed). Possibly Maryanna Klask was a sister to Josef??? Josef Klask and Mariana Maluchnik were married in Poland prior to their immigration to USA in 1913. They had 4 children in Poland, Teofil, Josef, Cecilia, Maria, oldest was 11 years. I would guess the marriage to be 1900-02. Any record at all of any Klask in or near Zareby/Zaremby/Zarombe prior to 1913 would be most appreciated, as well as any record of Stanislav Maluchnik ~ Amelia Mieleski(sp).
