My ancestor was born around 1829 in Warsaw (no idea which part), son of Carlos [Karl/Karol] Szyszkowski and Anastazja [Anastasia] Kasiszka. We know that he was born Jewish, and for some reason related to his faith he changed his name. He came to Perú (South America) by the Amazon River (though Brazil), and lived in a small village in the Peruvian Jungle. He was married in a Catholic Church in February of 1880 to Isabel Moreno. He had a least five children with different persons (including Isabel Moreno). We also know that he had a least one daughter that lived and died in France. I have being trying to get old documents of my family but haven’t had luck on this. I got the names of the parents of Luis [Lucjan?] Sisley [Szyszkowski] from his marriage record. I have being trying to gets his death certificate, and his testament (since he was a wealthy person), but with no positive result. I will try harder anyway. I will appreciate any assistance in my research. Best regards, Javier Pinto Lima, Peru
