Surnames: filipkowski Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AdC.2ACE/30.128.610.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Well it could be the name first mentioned, but to me it is a version of Filipkowski, which there is alot of them, some times a name is mispelled when they come here to United states, or americanized so to speak. so I can tell you in a private email what the record says, but as for reading it, I had to have it translated, and it is Old Russian Script. I can scan a copy to you soon as I get my scanner back up and running I have a new Printer, old one is gone, so we can do that, I am still getting these russian scripts translated, so I havent figured out if these new names are related to my family I am doing yet because I have about 60 or so records. from parish of Nowogrod in Podlaskie.
