My G G grandfather August was the son of Albert and Helen Rydzewski [she was a Bielicki]..August married Rosalia Marianna Sliwinska in the village of Muhlbanz in 1853 and settled there in the region of Kociewie....Moved south with 3 children] to Lunau [Lunowo] and had a further 4 children....left the village of Malsau for Hamburg via Gdansk where they boarded a ship 'Palmerston' on July 29 1972...thinking they were bound for America but instead arrived in Dunedin New Zealand. Their son Johan Franz, married a Josephine Szczepanski, whom we think emigrated to New Zealand as a small child.....One of their daughters, Ellen Frances Rydzewski, eventually married my grandfather, Fred Foster, and in turn, their eldest son, John Joseph Kevin, married my mom Helen Sloane...... I would so like to trace any relatives...whether it is at home in Poland, or the United States......please - can anyone help me?
