They are north of Pultusk, west of Lomza, if you happen to see those names on the map. Barnowo is the name of the gmina as well as being a town. They are in the Kurpie forest area of NE Poland. If you go back 200 years or so, I have a Michalak in my line from Baranowo. If your family is from that area, we are likely distant cousins. Anettka
