Peter Golis came over from Germany in 1911 - but was from Austria/Hungary according to his naturalization papers - but family tradition is that they were from Poland. He had 9 children, including Helen, born 1 APR 1913 in Pennsylvania. But Peter had two brothers: Peter and Frank (or Walter) and a sister Katharine. My father-in-law, Peter's son Paul, remembered going to visit his uncle John in Plainfield, New Jersey when he was little. John had a daughter Helen (also born in Pennsylvania, in 1916). Not sure if any of this helps.
