Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AdC.2ACE/1066.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Michal, Thanks for replying. The reason I posted the info I had is that I often hit a dead end when looking for information on either of my great grandparents. What I do know is that Alexander Wejcman ( the last name is how my grandfather spelled it, but have found other spellings: Wecman, Weisman, Wilsman, Wetzman ) was born on December 23, 1883 somewhere near Warsaw, Poland, and as far as I know he was raised Catholic even though his last name I have been told sounds Jewish. His wife, Wladyslava Pociszewska ( according to my grandfathers birth certificate ) was born about 1895 near Warsaw. The problem that I am running into is that most of the people on that side of the family are either dead or my mother doesnt know them although I have been in contact with someone with some history of that side of my family who has told me that Wladyslava had a brother named Frank. Also, Alex and Wladyslava came to the states in 1913 ( or 1912 depending on which census I look at ). Thats why I t! hought they may have been married before they left because Lottie ( my great grandmothers nickname ) was only 18 when they left. I will keep looking to see if I can find more and I will forward that to you too and again, thanks for replying.

She married an Alex ( Wejcman, Wecman, Weisman, Wejsman, Wetzman, Wajsman ) and came to the states in 1913. I'm not sure if she married in Poland or when they arrived in Wisconsin. Any help on this last name would be appreciated.
