Some of my family came from the Mlawa to Nova Wies Dmochy area. My Great Grandmother was Faustyna Moszczynski. My guess is that she was born sometime around 1845, but I have nothing on her. I also have distant in-laws in the family by Tokarski, but they probably came from northestern Poland.

New to list. I need help in contacting or finding information regarding family known to have lived in the area in mid-1940's. Surnames include MAJEWSKI, UCKIEWICZ, GORSKI, BISTRAM/BISTRON. Is there a Roman Catholic Church I might contact? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will be in Poland in September and hope to follow up any leads I might develope between now and then. They are north of Pultusk, west of Lomza, if you happen to see those names on the map. Barnowo is the name of the gmina as well as being a town. They are in the Kurpie forest area of NE Poland.
