I have ordered the marriage records from 1849 to 1889 and am awaiting their arrival at present at my local FHC. I believe they originally were part of the Mizerek family from Baranowo (the Village of Dlutowka). Jim Tye.

    3. GE, There are 4 Brodnica's in Poland none in Mazowieckie. Try Kujawsko Pomorskie. One was the German town of Strassburg. The manifest shows they were going to Cleveland. To learn more about your grandparents, I would suggest you begin with the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census records for Cleveland. The census records hold a lot of clues to our finding records of our ancestors. You need to know the name of the village before you can cross the ocean to find records in Poland.

They have huge data bases of information on all families from that town. Heniek was born there; if there are any family of that name living there, Heniek can probably find them.
