Author: nhughes58 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.ceeurope.poland.mazowieckie/2196.2.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I'm trying to locate friends from many years ago. I'm located in North Carolina. The Raymond Kosorek that I am trying to find had a sister we knew as Patty and a brother named Tommy. Raymond's father we knew as John and his mother was Margie. They lived in Yonkers at the time we were still in touch. Raymond and I used to write each other often and his family would come down to our little town of Gibson, NC and spend a week or two. The last contact I had with him was the summer after we had both graduated from high school, which was 1970. He was headed back to start a stint in the Navy. I hope that I have located the right family. Please contact me. Nancy Hughes Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 1. [Pol-Maz] My ancestors in Poland
    2. Michael Kretman via
    3. hi everyone. My paternal ancestry is Germans in Poland. They lived in the Wyszogrod and Sochaczew areas. My great grandfather was Krystian Kretmann and he married Marie Feierbach. I believe Krystian's father was Michael Kretmann. Marie's father was Jacob and her mother was Marie or Marianne Hubler. Krystian and Marie immigrated to St. Paul, Minnesota around 1912. Her mother also came, but Jacob Feierbach disappears. Marie Feierbach also had a brother Christian who married Wanda Janke. They too came to St. Paul. Marie and Christian Feierbach also had sisters Louisa who had married a Fox and had one son and Minnie who married Teofil Kuznicki. Mr. Fox disappears and Louisa married Gregory Krupnow in Toronto in 1914. They divorce in 1922 in Michigan. Gregory was a painter and disappears after the divorce. Family legend says he ran off to Russia with a young girl he was painting. I am interested. In learning more about those two towns and seeing if anyone else intersects with my ancestors. Oh, and my grandfather, Heinrich or Henry Phillip Kretman was said to have been both in Stuttgart, Germany but I believe he too was born in Poland. Any direction in obtaining church and civil records from those towns would also be appreciated. My name is Michael Kretman currently living in Florida. Thanks
