However, I am uncertain that his middle name WAS Tobias. She misidentified someone else as having the middle name Tobias, when I know for a fact it was not. Most researchers seem to think his middle name was Jordan, and this would make sense because his son ( my ancestor) was also named Jordan. This is my line Drayton (Tobias or Jordan)Pitts Jordan Buford Pitts Arthur Eugene Pitts (my great grandfather) This is a very difficult line to trace!
