I have a Miles M Pitts, born in AL,(1847) married Susan Betts, born in AL 1857. I don't know the counties of their births. I have them showing up in the censuses in Lee, Al. I need to know when/where they died and are buried, and Miles's parents names. Their daughter America married my husband's great grandfather , John Colombus Gaddy, and "up and left him" with the kids. (It may have had something to do with the fact that he was about 1,000 years old and she was a very young girl when they married) I see this all the time in genealogy, old men marrying young women, but I still can't keep from shivering and thinking "you old GOAT!"
